Rajia the Insane

Rajia the Insane - Maharaja

Rajia is a Wrath Baby and a founding member of Aegis, having started playing shortly after Wrath launch right here on Galakrond. She rolled a priest, played to level 7, rerolled warlock and never looked back. (Even in Cataclysm, which shows she clearly has more stubborness than sense.) In real life, she has retired from the glamorous life of a NY stagehand to the much more laid back museum life. Playing WoW has brought lots of wonderful friends into her life, but none as much so as Atriste, the Death Knight she met in this very guild, and married in 2014. (With many guildies present!) They recently traded in their Brooklyn shoebox for an actual house in the burbs, but they still have the same asshole cat and have adopted a very good natured dog to join him. Alts include but are not limited to: Loráx, Liriel, Ysabet, Yemoja, Persephonia, Moolan, Abhainn, Willoughby, Funmilayo and Laoghaire. When not drinking the altohol, Rajia likes to ride her bike, compulsively reread her favorite books and watch Doctor Who or the West Wing.

Atriste the Beloved - Strategos

Atriste started playing on Galakrond in early Wrath and bounced around quite a bit (as far away as Horde-Wryrmrest Accord) before landing permanently in Aegis sometime in the middle of Cataclysm.  By the end of Cata, he had cemented his role as a leader in the guild and looked forward to what he would find in Mists.  He never would have expected to find his other half, though.  He and Rajia had a whirlwind romance that is still going strong and bordering on a Bladestorm.  He also tells the absolute worst jokes in the history of ever.   He currently valiantly leads the Raidball team as they boldly discover all the possible ways to kill themselves in raids.  When not logged in, he is one of the friendly faces at Trader Joe's and tries to appease his asshole cat.  Seriously, the thing doesn't stop yelling.

Aunyx, Delver of the Vaults - Strategos

Aunyx began her Azerothian journey on release day in 2004 on Whisperwind. At the tail end of BC, just before Wrath launch, questing, farming and leveling on a new, low pop server seemed attractive…and so, the move to Galakrond was made.  A former GM on Whisperwind, Aunyx made a lot of friends along the way and brought several of them with her.  During BC, she met Daozi and deepening friendship lead from conversations in Ventrillo to conversations on the phone, from a plane ride for a first visit in 2008 to his cross country move in 2009. Since January 2011, Aunyx is proud to call Daozi her husband and they dwell in the mountains of Montana with their teenage daughter.  Offline, Aunyx works as an independent beauty consultant and indulges her musical interests as a proud member of the Montana Highlanders bagpipe band. Like any highlander, she and her family like to take advantage of the oudivoor activities that mountain living has to offer… weekends during the summer, you can usually find them hiking, fishing or canoeing.

Brewmaster Daozi - Ombudsman

Daozi started his campaign across Azeroth in 2005 raiding all over Whisperwind with anyone who needed a Shadow Priest (we were the mana battery then). At Wrath’s launch, with several of his closest friends and guildies, we jumped ship from Whisperwind and landed on Galakrond. After a few guild changes, Daozi and his crew of misfit toys landed in in the summer of 69 (or was it the summer of Cata). After 10+ years of being a raid leader, Daozi thought he could put up his boots to just be one of the raiders, but the call of leadership was too strong, and he now helms the Nip Horizon raid on Sunday mornings. In real life, he’s an Operations Manager for an insurance processing center, in charge of 100+ poor saps that have to call him Boss. Oh, and he likes to bang Aunyx in his spare time.

Brawler Tyrik - Strategos

Tyrik was forged during vanilla and reborn during BC where he was GM and raid leader of on Bloodscalp. The guild migrated to Galakrond at server launch and was reborn as . Due to real life issues the guild went their separate ways and through Tyrik's dumb luck he fell into with some mutual friends. The warrior, Tyrik, has been been a main through each expansion, but he has played and raided successfully on just about every class. In real life, he is a full time student and a veteran of the U.S. Army. A bit rude and sarcastic at times, Tyrik is a wealth of knowledge and always stands ready to help a guildie with any issue. His alts vary wildly, as he is prone to change their names from time to time when bored.

Dark temp

Predator Darkeyes - Oddicer

Darkeyes, another founding member of the guild, can't be bothered to write his own bio, so he's stuck with this snarky message from the GM. Darkeyes, sometimes refered to as Doctor Dark, due to his real life profession (one guess what the specialty is...) is particularly sassy and fun to play with. Do not taunt Happy Fun Dark. Disappointingly, his spouse does not play WoW but we consider him to be a member of the extended Aegis family anyhow. Together, they are the proud humans of a very cute dog.

Del

Starcaller Delnerys - Oddicer

Delnerys started her career on Galakrond during Wrath of the Lich King as a feral druid named Delesa. She did not start raiding until Icecrown Citadel and did so with her then guild, . It was during Pandaria that she took several breaks from World of Warcraft and finally came back towards the end of the expansion. At that time, she joined Aegis since some of her old raid friends from were there. Since then, she has raided actively with and looks forward to not paying attention to raid explanations from raid leaders. She has many alts (most of which have some ‘Del’ variation in them) but she admittedly loves her druids. In real life, Del works for USCIS. She enjoys writing stories and geeking out on Warcraft lore with her partner, Vori. She has one tiny ?˜mutt˜? chihuahua named Midna and lives out in the middle of nowhere in Nebraska.

Elathas

Elathas, Herald of the Titans - Oddicer

Elathas began his journey in Azeroth on Doomhammer a few months before the launch of Wrath of the Lich King. When the lure of a free escape from the long queue times caught his eye, he made the transfer to Galakrond. There he joined a “ten man” guild and had many great adventures where the slogan, “pics or it didn’t happen”, was thrown around in great abundance. That guild first combined forces with Aegis in ICC to take down 25 man Lich King. He took a break starting in MoP to pursue his culinary career, and after securing his position as an executive chef he returned to Azeroth, and his old friends in Aegis. Elathas is the leader of the Night’s Watch raid team, and has several alts he plays regularly - Skadoosh, Saito, Weeman, and Lafitte to name a few. He is always open and ready to assist in any way he can.

Ukitake

Hisági the Hallowed - Oddicer

Hisági is a vanilla child who started playing 3 months after release on Bloodscalp in the guild . He has seen nearly all end game content since that point. When Wrath of the Lich King came out, he and his group of friends decided to move to Galakrond and start fresh in the guild . Unfortunately, did not survive long into the expansion, and after parting ways with his fellow Knights, Hisági bounced around in a few other guild before being invited to during Trial of the Crusader and has been crusading here since. His other toons include  Táriel-Galakrond, Táriel-Blackhand,

Ukitáke,Unõhana, Xenagos, and Astrista.

Th-th-th-that's all, folks!
