Welcome to Aegis! We're glad you're here, whether you're just checking us out for the first time (oooh baby!) or you signed our charter back in 2009, you're the reason this guild exists. Our intent is to create a stepping off point for content, a home base from which any manner of adventures can commence. Aegis is a place to build the relationships with other players that sustain our engagement with the game world!

If the following things are true, it just might be:

• You're 18 or over. (We're good naturedly crass and prone to swearing.)
• You want to progress in current heroic raid content, but don't have the time to devote more than a day or two a week to raid.
• You're kind of a smartass. Not *quite* a jerk though.
• You like to work through challenges as a team rather than harp on others' mistakes.
• You're apolitically incorrect.

If these things are true, it probably isn't:

• You want someone to carry you. (Let's be honest, we love helping, but only those as help themselves, if you know what I mean...)
• You like to argue politics or religion in guild chat. (We're still all friends BECAUSE we don't!)
• You're homophobic or transphobic. (Or, as I like to say, an asshole.)
• You find sprinkles of sexual innuendo (or the occasional officer who thinks he's a sex bot) uncomfortable.
• You are actually Space Hitler. Or Clown Hitler. Hitler at all, really, is just straight out.
